How Can You Have Healthier Younger-Looking Skin?
Skin aging is caused by genetics (intrinsic aging) which cannot be prevented and extrinsic aging which is caused by environmental factors such as sun's ray (the biggest culprit of premature aging), repetitive facial movements, gravity, sleeping positions and smoking.
For healthier young looking skin you must put all your efforts on slowing down the external environmental aging.
Recommendations are:
- Eat balanced healthy diet
- No smoking
- No facial exercises
- Sun protection
- No tanning (includes tanning devices)
- Avoid sun between 10am and 4pm
- Wear protective clothing - long sleeves when outdoors
- Wear wide brim hat
- Wear sun glasses
- Must apply SPF of 15 or higher all year round. Sunscreen should be applied 20 minutes before going outdoors to all exposed skin.
- Reapply SPF 15 or more after sweating or being in water.
